Man, I always find these questions a little vague.

I mean, from the tab and the song I guess one can pretty well understand the strumming pattern. Now, it might not be easy to reproduce it, but that's another story.

For me, if the song is not straightforward, I listen to it very well first (without the guitar in my hands if necessary) and only after I attempt to play it.

As for Minarets, Dave uses strong palm mute, and the strumming pattern follows the changes of the left hand.

Well, maybe I didn't add much, sorry. :lol:
