hi
I got the line6 dl4 last week!
what kind of settings do I need to get the original liog sound?
what kind of delay does Tim use? and other settings like repeats, tweak, tweez, mix
and I know that he also uses the volume pedal to create this uniqe sound but I don't know what kind of pedal I should buy?
What do you think of wah-volume pedals? What are the differences between various volume pedals?
thanks

Tim's solo shows are without a band, just him a guitar, some effects and a lot of mushrooms. He does sing but i would say it's only about half the time. He injured his vocal chords in a car accident and as a result, his voice is very scratchy and deep.flandaneran wrote:at tim's shows does he play by himself or with a band? Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I saw him solo over the summer, and he is amazing. Unfortunately this poppy frat house band opened for him, and all the dicks that were there for the opening act stayed and ruined the show. They were just yelling and chatting away the whole time, which absolutely ruins a show in a small venue.

I don't believe he uses the Line-6 anymore, or many other effects for that matter. But he used to use a line-6 and a boss dd-5. I think the sound you're looking for during LIOG is "auto-volume" on the line 6.
Sometimes when I reflect on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. I think, "It is better to drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.
