Butterfly for my new niece

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Butterfly for my new niece

Unread post by kiwisb » Mon Oct 09, 2006 9:53 am

G'day, I'm new around here and I'm hoping someone can help.

I had a brand new niece born last week (in New Zealand and I live in the UK - so I'm not going to meet her for a few years) and I was thinking about recording a version of Butterfly for her.

Basically what I'm after is different versions of Butterfly that Dave has played (preferably in mp3) so I can get a good idea of how to play it.

I saw this version on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3pZZoV8gFA and was very impressed. There is a bridge in that version that isn't tabbed on this site which would be good to work out if anyone has time.

I hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance.

i was at that show. before he plays it he says something like "lets see if i get this right" and he kinda messes up in the beginning that's why everyone was laughing.

here is a version from 9/18/04 Farmaid http://www.sendspace.com/file/vx75lo

i don't know the tabbed part, im sure someone will help you out.

oh and dmbtabs.com, welcome to it.
