Tabs gone forever?!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

very very true, but it wont happen. anyone can sit down with guitar and a good ear, and figure a song out without tabbooks (since they are all wrong anyway). but to not be able to share your skill ? i understand copyrighting recordings and lyrics, but you cant suppress knowhow, it makes no sense. whats next..copyrighting riffs?

the owner of guitartabs.cc rob balch is putting everything back up, lawyers wont make an attempt to settle with him so he's talked to lawyers and what not and got into a group called "musato" music student and teacher orginization. itbeen created to protect the rights that students and teachers have to use tablature as a learning resource

i used to review tabs there, once its up and running again i'll be back in business

if you can't post tabs, then why can lyric sites post the words to the song? If you think about it, it is essentially the same thing.

That's true...

I think you will always be able to get tabs, just making sure they have the "disclaimer of being used for studies, etc..."
