That is a lot easier said than done for this song, especially when he's already trying to play and sing at the same time. I don't recomment this approach at all here- Carter does not play a steady 'snare on the 1' or anything on this song, so it's going to be even harder to follow along on this song. Try listening to the bassline as that is the most prominent thing that you can follow that will lead you through the song. If you can listen to that you will know when the changes are coming. Use the bass to help, it's there for a reason. Listening to Stefan's pattern you will be able to anticipate the 1 and the change that comes with it.dmbguitar718 wrote:It's in 7/8. If that still doesn't help, just listen and break it down four lines at a time or so, master that section, and move on to the next one.
