Help with last stop

Unread post by jebro » Sun Jan 12, 2003 2:28 am

well i need some help once again from you guys. im having trouble getting the last stop to sound right. maybe i havent been working on it long enough or something, its easy but i can get it.

A#:-------------------------------------------------------------------
F#:-------------------------------------------------------------------
C#:---------9--10\12--13--12--12\10--9--10----------------10----------
G#:-10--11----------------------------------11--10h11p10------11--10--
D#:-------------------------------------------------------------------
2 3 1 (2) 3 2 (2) 1 2 3 2__3__2 2 3 2

when sliding from 10 to 12 should i just hit the string once and slide or should i hit it once before and after the slide and then hit 13? any tips on 10h11p10? those are giving me trouble. thanks for the help in advance.

im not sure if you know this, but that is the tab for a half step down (i assume you know that), however i always use the standard version, but i can still try and help.
"when sliding from 10 to 12 should i just hit the string once and slide or should i hit it once before and after the slide and then hit 13?" -you should just hit the string once and then slide.

"any tips on 10h11p10?" -put your second finger (middle) on the 10 (9, in my case) and keep it there. play the string and right after the string has sounded, place your ring finger on the 11th fret, and then remove the ring finger so that only the middle finger is there now. its hard explain, but its all a real quick movement. practice makes perfect.

I have a question abuot this too, the outro, is that the reprise or the outro to the main song. It doesn't sound like the reprise, it doesn't really sound right at all.
