If you've been playin for awhile, you shouldn't have much trouble with Dave's songs. I started with Ants, SMTS, Grey Street, and Busted Stuff (Standard). Now I can play most of Dave's stuff. Like I said, if you've been playon for awhile, you shouldn't run into Too Much trouble. (Hint, Hint)

on the 7th fret, use your pinky finger and your ring finger to play the g and low e respectively. With your ring finger laying across the other stings, the mute happens naturally.
For the second chord (3xx4xx), use your index finger for the low E and middle finger for the g. Third chord (5xx6xx), use your ring finger for low e and pinky for g. And for the final chord use your index finger for low e and middle finger for g.

Guitar part is easy, not so easy singing along with it smoothly. If you're pretty familiar with regular open chords and bar chords, I think the Song That Jane Likes is a good one to start with. Christmas Song is pretty easy too, but oh so great. Big Eyed Fish is pretty easy too. Everyday too.

Don't be afraid to let the D ring out some. It actually adds a little bit to the chords when playing the song on a 6 string rather than a 12 string.

I personally found 'Stay or Leave' and 'Oh' to be quite easy. They're not the easiest, but they aren't very complicated. They're each pretty much small variations of some simple open chords for the most part.

Dancing Nancies was my first one. The rythm is sort of tough at first (specially if you're not used to DMB stuff), but overall it's not a complicated song.

OK, I have a question. Ive been getting everything down for STJL but i cant figure out how ot play it. I know that sounds weird but, do you play the verse almost the entire time?? And when do you play the transition? In between the verse and the intro part or what?? Thanks for the help.

Play it with the song, over and over until you think you got it
