ok listened to what you recorded - and yes, that isn't right at all, i'm sorry but its true - the chords are close, but only the first 2 notes of the riff are right - i understand you're doing it in standard, but you could get it much closer than that

Then provide an alternative. It's notes - the capo is irrelevant....

And please, quit it w/ the sorry thing - sounds kinda condescending.....not appreciated. I like to discuss these things for sure, but it sounds like you're attacking me for even discussing this....

if you read what i first wrote, i said i came up with basically what pat and the wolf came up with(we don't need a third tab of the same thing they put so i didn't tab it out), which is correct - if you'll read the rest of the thread, guitardmb has a much better and correct version in standard - and i said i'm sorry because i'm not trying to come off as an asshole, but if you think i'm condescending then fine - i'm not sorry, you're just wrong

i don't know if you saw his tab, but at first i pointed out that yours and wolfs were correct and that i had basically come up with the same thing on my own - he assured me that his wasn't totally right but was close...which it wasn't, it wasn't close - then he had a link to a recording he did of his tab, and like i said, it wasn't close - he defended it, told me to agree to disagree, and edited his post - maybe its jason, who knows

Does Dave play this on a 12-string with a capo? I don't have access to any video right now, so I apoligize if a video would clear up my question. I thought it had a 12 string sound. However, its hard enough to tune a 12-string to standard tuning given all the tension the neck puts on the strings. To get it up three more steps would be really difficult.

EDIT: Nevermind. I am going to assume its on his new 12 string that is higher up.

sorry i didn't see this before your edit - but yeah, its on that new tiny guitar which is tuned as if you took a normal guitar and put a capo on the 10th fret

I've been messing with the Capo 5 tab all day and it sound fine except for one part. When that tabs says to play the x13330 chord, i find that it sounds better if you play x10330, it gives a more open feal and sounds closer to me, when you bar those 3 on the 3rd fret something just sounds out of place and I think its in that spot.
