Singing When the World Ends

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Unread post by adrianosr » Fri Oct 17, 2003 6:22 am

Does anyone have trouble singing the When the World Ends verse while keeping the cool rythm of the album version or is it just me? Well...Back to practice then!!

I have had problems with it. I love the d+t version of it on the bonus-cd that came with some devil and after I heard that I decided to try and play it. I thought it was pretty hard to play and sing at first...but listen to it a lot and sing along without your guitar over and over again til you can sing it without problem. Eventually it will just come to you.

I need to work on my english...

That some devil WTWE version is the best I've ever heard. Dave put so much soul into that one. And yes, that's one of the few Dave songs I cannot sing :(

I can sing it easily without the guitar - it's the rythm/singing coordenation that I find tricky. But the same has happen before in other songs and I know I'll eventually get the hang of it. By the way, I agree - the WTWE from the Some devil bonus disc ROCKS!!!

yeah this song is easy for me to sing, and it took me about 3 seconds to learn. i dont think my barely 14 yr old gf would like the lyrics though lol.

does that mean "you" don't like the song or that your girlfried isn't smart enough to comprehend the amazing lyrics/meaning of the song? :|
