Hardest Song to Play
Hardest Song to Play
I know it has been done MANY times before, but what do you guys think is the hardest Dave song to play. I'm learnin' Stone now, but already know more difficult songs like Warehouse, BOWA, Billies, OSW, etc along with all the easy ones (SMTS, Too Much, Nancies, WWYS).
i would vote one sweet world, atleast for me i havent been able to learn it because i cant remember all of it... havent tried that hard tho..

With the chorus in Fool to Think, you either get it or you don't. If other time signatures come easy such as the 9/8 it is in, then its no problem. If you can't handle anything other than 4/4, I think it will be the toughest thing to learn.
I voted for dream of our fathers. That is really tough to play and sing at the same time.

I can play most dave songs besides the different tuning songs. I voted for JTR, because i learned it i think my own way and i just never sat down and learned it dave way. I've tried and it was without success. So JTR for me

I voted based upon how hard it was for me when I was learning. Of the 4 songs on there that I learned I have no problem with now.
Warehouse took me a long time to get down. The strumming pattern really gave me a hard time. FTT, Stone and Trippin Billies came fairly easy for me.
If I was voting for which is the toughest song for me to currently play I would say Captain because the stretches hurt my hand.

ive never been happy with my jimmi thing verse, i can play it , but it just sounds a little less.. . . .something.
i never got my head around the BOWA verse.
i find the fool to think chorus easy, but then i play a fair bit of electric rock, and thats nothing compaired to some of the songs in that genre, then it all depends on the player, we all have strengths and weaknesses. i like the way i play warehouse, it s more like the old way, i like the stop time, but it only works full band (imo)
