trouble w/ strumming

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Howdy,

I would strongly suggest purchasing the Listener Supported DVD. It clearly shows the strumming pattern of that and many other songs. Or download a movie or two from the net.

Hope that helps. :)
Yes, I am Indian and I play the guitar. Believe It.

i remember learning crash and i too had a lot of trouble with the strumming. i think the best thing you could do is just listen to the song and play along with dave. the thing that got me to learn crash was just breaking the song down, listening to the guitar and the bass and the words. crash especially all depends on the bass notes and if you listen to the song you will see that each new stanza of words starts with a new bass note. it goes from a bass note, to strumming, to an open string and back to another bass note etc. hope this heps you out.
