its just a constant up and down pattern, almost all his songs are like that.

You really shouldn't be thinking of it in terms of pattern.. it's all rhythm. Don't think about strumming up, then up, then down once, then up twice, then down twice.. Just play it. :)

I NEVER think about the strumming. I listen to the song and play it more or less like Dave does it. When I started playing this used to be different; I always had to think about how to play the rhythm.
So, I think it'll get a lot better if you practise, practise, practise. I know that a lot of people might already have said that to you, but it is indeed the best thing to do, if you wanna improve your skills...

Some people have a harder time with that, the only song where there is a strumming pattern thta i cant figure out is, "An' Another Thing"...for some reason i cant figure it out, its...different.
