I don't think I want to announce just yet where I live but it's near where dave used to live, Charlottesville. But far enough to be away from his direct influence. HA! I actually met his mother and know where she lives. And his dogs. Hehe. No real interesting story to go with it though.

The idea is simple. There's a small but popular coffee shop here in nowhere VA that does local college band shows whenever they have someone who can. I REALLY would like to do a Dave and Tim cover night. See how it goes.

Have you thought about asking Tim Reynolds himself? you may have better luck that way.

I'm not looking for exact replicas of Tim. More like someone who can harmonize and cover me if I miss a note. Maybe a mellowed out solo here and there. I think you got the stuff.

Timmy might be busy, getting ready for his next studio album, or working on the up coming tour. Damn, I wish I would have seen one of his shows last year where Grey Howard played as an opener (and he helps produce some of timmy's albums too) and they jammed together during the encore.
