Anyone got tips on learning to sing. I can't afford lessons, and just playing guitar is boring now.

I don't know that I agree fully with that advice, though. Yes, you should not force your sound, but there's a bit more than that to singing. Some people just have talent. It also helps to have a friend with a good ear nearby to listen and tell you if you're on pitch. That's how I got my non-singing friend to be a singer.

a good way to see if you're on pitch is to close one of your ears while you're singing. if you don't sound like the cd, then you're off. and that way, you don't have to have a friend sit theree and make faces at you.
