the first time i looked at kanter's tab i just could not figure it out
a month back, picked up the six string and was amazed at how it just came to me a helluva lot easier than it did before

Verse
Play once then play Transition #1 for one go-around
E:------------------------
B:------------------------
G:------------------------
D:---------5-----------3--
A:-----4-----------4------
E:-3-----------5----------
1 2 3 3 2 1
Transition #1
E:-------------------------------------
B:-------------------------------------
G:---------------------------------0---
D:---------4---2-----------4---2--(0)--
A:-2---3-----------2---3---------------
E:-------------------------------------
1 2 4 1 1 2 4 1
The same thing happened to me when i first tried this song as well. I think i was the verse that gave me trouble and then one day months later i heard the song and gave it another try and now i play almost everyday. I love it cause you can use soo much muting(like satellite) when playing it and you can rail on the song if you want as well
I still can't play stay or leave in standard tuning like timmy plays it, maybe i should stop playing it for a while(?)
