Is it just me.. or does "An' Another Thing" sound like similiar to Typical Situation.. especially the version from "Live @ Red Rocks" .. just an observation..

i think it sounds like Little Things from the Luther College cd ...at least I think thats the name of it ...but I know he plays "an another thing/little things" or some rendition of it at Luther.

Yes, "An' Another Thing" is a reworked version of Little Thing (of Luther College fame). Same song, just a wee bit different.

Some would say that the thing Dave plays/sings before Typical Situation on Red Rocks is Little Thing...

The thing Dave plays/sings before Typical SItuation on Red Rocks is Little Thing.

I don't think Dave reworked the song at all.....to me it sounded EXACTLY the same....An' Another Thing IS Little thing

the chords are a bit different, he plays a chorus, and the lyrics are pretty indiscernagble, but it is LT
I think people think that maybe theres more chance I'll play if they sound mad and I'm like you guys are just pretending, I know why you go to the gym its for the steam room big boy, come in here with that '41' stuff, I see through that tiger DM 3-19

I don't think the chords are different at all......and there is no EXTRA chorus from what Little Thing normally has.....it's only 2 different parts with whatever is played at the end.

Gimme a time during the song where something might be different...thanks!

sorry I meant he plays the chords differently. THey are the same chords, but instead of just strumming them it sounds like he is picking the individual strings. And the chorus isn't the same ole chords he uses in the whole song like on Luthur

Also, the initial press release's tracklist had it listed as Little Thing.

He is basically just strumming lightly but in the intro he does pick those notes...yes

As for the chorus.....I am almost positive that he is playing the same chorus.....why would he change it up if it's the same song that he's been playing for almost 7 years now??? I mean...he's hitting the same exact bass notes and the rest of the chord sound the same also...sooooooo
