So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

You're telling me you can play 64th notes at 100 bpm? You are a golden God! I can barely hit 32nds, and even that is sloppy.

not at a hundred beats per min... but using a type of note is really not an accurate way to desrcibe speed... good thing you included the bpm

Buckethead is incredible. Very strange and oddly loveable.

Just like Tim.

The New so called GNR without any original members except Axel sucks my left nut. They suck ass and I hate them I dont mean to flame but if you call urself a band and kick all the band members out then you are no longer a bvand. Any respect I once had for GNR and Axel Roser is now gone. I knew Buckethead from that GNR show and he wanted to be all goth and punky and was a little bitch. I refuse to dl any of his shit.

buckhead is actually very talented, although I heard he still lives at home with his mom. For those who have never heard, of him, he wears a KFC bucket on his head. "Hence buckehead" Truth be, he is actually a virtuosso, and to answer the origional question of this thread, I choose Tim, both are amazing guitarists, but atleast Tim isn't afraid to show his face, and I love so slight favoristism there... hmmm, I wonder what is underneath that greasy old KFC bucket anyway???

For those of you who say that the "new" GN'R sucks based on either a) only seeing them on the MTV awards or b) the fact that the only members from the old GN'R are Axl and Dizzy Reed, you should really check out some of the other shows they've put on. Granted, I agree that they should not be called Guns N' Roses, but Axl does have legal rights to that name and can call it what he wants. I haven't been keeping up with the lineup for the past few months, but back around new years 2001 they played at Rock in Rio III (so did our holy Dave Matthews Band) and really did a good job. Their current lineup is certainly more talented than the old lineup, even if it's not original. Add that to the fact that they now have two lead guitarists (Robin Finck and Buckethead) the last 3 minutes of Paradise City was pretty unreal. And about the VMA's, Axl's monitor was having problems, which is why his singing was so atrocious (he kept fooling with his earpiece). If you've ever tried to sing with a band and couldn't hear yourself very well, you'll know that it's pretty hard to sing in key.

If you're interested in hearing what the rest of GN'R is up to now, check out Velvet Revolver. It's Guns N' Roses - Axl + Scott Weiland, and is pretty cool sounding.

Anyway, Buckethead is certainly a more technical guitarist than Tim, and I would even venture to say he is "better," but my favorite between the two is definitely Tim.
