pantala tim part on these crowded streets

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

pantala tim part on these crowded streets

Unread post by max » Tue Oct 11, 2005 10:28 am

Does anyone have the tab or know what chord is played during the beginning of pantala on the album version? I'm talking about the

E:--------------
B:-------------
G:-11----11---
D:-7-----7-----
A:-9-----9-----
E:-10----10---

part. The second time around, it sounds like someone (Tim maybe?) plays something higher and I was just wondering if anyone knew what it was.
Thanks!

I think he plays the full barre chord 101212111010.

He does that alot as a contrast to dave's goofy chord shapes, playing the full standard chords to get a well-rounded sound.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
