help on jimi thing...part with the 9's and 11's

listen to the 9h11 parts and my strumming and timing is off but i just cant figure out wat im doing wrong...should i hold the 9's longer? the 11's? wat?
any help would be appreciated thanks

o ya and i already watched pats videos but i cant see his strumming just the frets so that hasnt helped me out too much although it helped me even recognize i weasnt playing it wrong in the first place

figured out i wat i was doing wrong for first hammer part i was forgetting the mute by accident
but this is now throwing off my strumming for the 2nd hammer on part...but is this any better

Dude, it's pretty simple once you actually get it to work.
When you play the second part of the 9's and 11's, double hit the 9 after the hammer-on 11 on the D-string and then and then hit the 11 on the A-string for the slide down to the chord A ... You can't see it on Pat's video but it's there ... Someone will tell me I'm wrong but it sounds right and the timing is there ...

jimi really isn't much different from any other dave song. they all have a destinct feel to them. like so much to say or wwys, there's a groove to it. i def. suggest taking a break for a atleast 2 days and focus on another song and then before trying jimi again watch a vid of it, maybe L.S. or a d&t.
your playing sounds almost perfect and i'm sure you can tell that you're just a bit off. I believe your missing a mute right after the hammeron from 9 to 11 on the A string. Give it a try, its bound to work
