What the hell is this?
hi everybody
I got tons of dave stuff from a friend and put it on my comp, there's one little tune or part of a tune I just don't know. There is no date and neither me nor my buddy know what this is or when it was played. It's some funnny little riff that was probably played as an "inbetween"-kind of thing.
listen for yourselves:

does anybody have an idea? maybe he's just messin' with an idea or so...
does anyone have a tab for this or can come up with something?

I am really going to go out on a limb and say this is fake. My reasons ; the crowd just stops on a dime at the 10 sec mark of the clip. We all know how loud the crowd gets during Dave solo and D&T shows even when new material is being played. During the guitar work, there isn't a peep out of the crowd. And then the crowd comes back in at the 50 sec mark. Another reason is that the guitar almost sounds DSBD but at the very end when Dave talks, the recording sounds like an AUD recording. In the beginning when the crowd cheers, the crowd is definately AUD but an AUD recording would not have captured that guitar so upclose while keeping the crowd noise in the back of the mix. I think this is someone with a basic wave editor combined their own guitar work and the crowd and Dave.

I'm gonna have to agree. The complete lack of crowd noise while playing made me suspicious as well. Welcome to the site, by the way.dmbpettit wrote:I am really going to go out on a limb and say this is fake. My reasons ; the crowd just stops on a dime at the 10 sec mark of the clip.
