Ending Bartender Lyrics

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Ending Bartender Lyrics

Unread post by DMB2718 » Sun Sep 07, 2003 10:06 pm

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows if Dave is actually saying words at the end of bartender, and what they are if he is because I have no clue as to what he's talkin about...........I'm reffering to the Live at Folsom Field more than I am the studio version.
Thanks

-Dave

can't help you there. i used to think it was something that he makes up on the spot...but he seems to do it in almost every version. but if you're wanting to duplicate it just maybe listen to some stuff that he says in other jams and try to

i know in one of the versions he kept saying stuff like rain on my soul, and im not dead, and im flying on broken wings and the famous all rivers float into the ocean. http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=4828

it may be just a little sad that someone goes to that much trouble...but good resource nonetheless.
