Help with crush

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Help with crush

Unread post by timbo » Wed Jul 06, 2005 8:56 pm

I have just recently started trying to play Crush. I can do all the the chords (except the chorus part trips me up sometimes). My problem is that I can't really hear when to change when it comes to the lyrics. There is a lot going on. Is there a really good video or set of tabs that help show where to change chords?

Thanks,
Tim

there are two decent acoustic versions on dmbontv.com(the sessions at aol and the storytellers). other then that, check the video threads(pat and nitro) and definatley do a search, since there was a thread from awhile back on the song.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

I really have trouble in the beginning during the verse and in the chorus. I can pretty much find the "lovely lady" part. Its the stuff that is really covered up in the album version that is hard to find. A chord that tells me where to switch would be awesome.
