Say goodbye

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Chorus

Code: Select all

E:-------------------
B:-----------2-------
G:-4----4----2----2--
D:-4----4----2----x--
A:-2----2---------x--
E:------4---------2--
^this part^ runs through twice for the first chorus:
"Stay here with me, love, tonight
just for an evening
When we make
our passion pictures
You and me twist up
Secret creatures"

then the chorus ends with this part:

Code: Select all

E:------------
B:---3-----3--
G:---x-----2--
D:---4-----x--
A:---2-----x--
E:-3-3-----2--
^ then the chorus ends with this part:

"And we'll stay here
Tomorrow go back to being friends"

The next chorus is longer, I believe goes through the 1st part of the chourus 4 times instead of 2:

"Float away here with me
An evening just wait and see
But tomorrow go back to your man
I'm back to my world
And we're back to being friends
Wait and see me,
Tonight let's do this thing
All we are is wasting hours until the sun comes up it's all ours

then the second part again for:

"On our way here
Tomorrow go back to being friends"

Code: Select all

E:------------------
B:---3-----3-----0--
G:---x-----2-----2-- <---3on2
D:---4-----x-----2-- <---2on2
A:---2-----x-----0--
E:-3-3-----2--------
^this is the end of the last chorus and the 0220 chord is when he starts with " Lovers...love...lovers
Just for tonight, one night...love you "

then he slows this down at the end:

"And tomorrow say goodbye" which he does a few times and ends on:

x-0-2-2-0-0

I hope this helps.
good, and you?
