Funny how things change...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Even though I still mess it up here and there even now, I know that I can do it and that helps the confidence.

If you are talking about the reitteration(sp?) of his username, then yes...that is quite funny.
does anyone remember Cor, that used to drive me insane too. It was his username, he had like 1000+ posts and ended them all with

i think what happens is that the more you learn differnt songs, the more it becomes easier to learn. i learn most of recently in 2 days. some songs just take 2 days for me to figure out how to play it, then i need to learn to get the rhythm down.
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

It may not be relevant, but I do the same on the drumkit. Did it with The Stone (especially the verses)...couldnt play it at all, now its so comfortable, Pig will be next to fall in that fashion for me I hope.

The 4-stroke roll carter does, I could never understand but now its second nature, were you the same way Beauford33?

I learned the four stoke roll idea from my drum instructer before I ever came across Carter. Then he showed me the video cause he thought I would find it interesting and when I heard it was a four stroke roll, I had already learned a similar pattern so it didnt take too long. Just to get it up to speed, but that is it.
