Grey Street Muting

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Grey Street Muting

Unread post by paywad927 » Sun Dec 08, 2002 8:21 pm

the grey street tabs on this site show that dave mutes the D and A strings while he plays the verse. i have seen videos of him playing the song and i cant figure out how he does it. it says that he plays it on a 12 string and i play with a 6 string (i dont know if that has anything to do with it). this is probably a pretty stupid question that everyone knows but me but any help or advice you could give me would be appreciated.

thanx,
derek
