I dunno is this has been tried...but..

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Could we get people who play the sax, people who play the violin, Guitar, Drums and Bass to each record thier parts in a selected DMB song and then piece them together and have our own Online DMB Cover?? or would that be too far fetched?

it's easy, just do guitar part first, send it to drummer, then off to next person, just keep adding...

Good thoughts, but how will a drummer be able to hear the mp3 and mic it at the same time unless you have a seperate recoring system (as i do...i dont play drums) and how many GOOD drummers do we have here?

Just seems like it would be more of a pain than anything...I could be wrong

wouldn't it make more sense to have the drums laid down first since the drums are usually the main source of rhythm. just a thought, it seems like it would be easier if a drummer (if we have any on the board) played, then guitar and bass, and then the lead and violin and sax after.

I agree, but dumb idea overall imo.

if it would be possible, it'd be awesome. but i really dont know how you could both play the thing and record another track at the same time.

it can be done, you need a full-duplex sound card (able to play and record at the same time). you can set most recording programs to record and play at the same time
