You Won't See Me Dave Style?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

You Won't See Me Dave Style?

Does anyone have the tabs for the cover of this Beatles song Dave does. The chords he's playing definitely aren't the same as the Beatles version.

i used to have the tab, but i deleted because i was never able to play this one part of it that had a monster stretch, i'm not talking a #41 kind of stretch, the ones in this song make 41 look easy

although there is the possibility that a moron wrote that tab...

I'll tab it tonight. I used to know how to play it. Dave doesn't play anywhere close to what John and George played. He does a 2 string chord that just goes a step or half lower on each beat, then a walk up.

thanks man I would love that, I'm in a band and they asked me to pick a cool Beatles song to cover. That's my favorite song of theirs and I absolutely love what Dave does with it on guitar

check this link out. it sounds pretty accurate. i'm not sure about the single string plucks in the verse, but everything else sounds really good.

I got it down, but I am too tired and sick to tab it right now. I'll have it up first thing tomorrow.

how could I have been so stupid. I forgot to tab the run up in the verse. Here's the corrected one:

Code: Select all

Verse
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B--11----11----11----11------------------------------------------------
G--10-----9-----8-----7----7--8--9--10---------------------------------
D---8-----8-----8-----8----x--x--x---x---------------------------------
A--------------------------5--6--7---8---------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------------------------------
