Dave switching it up (playing things differently)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dave switching it up (playing things differently)

Unread post by PJ » Tue Oct 15, 2002 1:29 pm

I believe that it's apparent that Dave plays ALOT of shit different at times...he can do that haha...he wrote the shit...but we argue so much over this that and the other thing..there's a pull off here not a hammer on, he hits the 2nd fret on the e string not the b string...
When in reality...we could all be partially right...he plays thing with slight nuances ALL the time...so maybe someone saw one video and tabbed it correctly from that, and then someone else saw another video where Dave played something a tiny bit different...and then we get on here and argue till the cows come home...
I guess I'm just sayin that I love what we got here and that mostly people talk about things rather than being bitter and arguing...but just keep an open mind and I think it'll be real cool when the submit tabs thing gets up...Cheers y'all and keep playin! ~PJ

Wow! man you are right pj. I think you should run this whole site! Nobody has ever thought of that before, that's incredibly insightful. Excellent point.

Hey, no hard feelins bro, but I just think that kind of a post is kinda pointless. I mean, what you are saying is true in a way, but I guarantee you it's not gonna make one bit a difference. When we argue, we are trying to find out the exact way Dave plays for the most part; because that's the way we like to play it. Nobody is forcing you to read the posts anyway.
