satellite variations

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

link don't work.

Here is one way to play satellite other than what the site says:

--------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------
------3-------------------------------------------------------
---------6-5--3--6-------------------------------------------
----6--4-3-----4--3------------------------------------------
--4----------6------------------------------------------------

You can also play that way by barreing the 3rd fret and using your remaining fingers, the notes are still the same(all the 3's will be barred).

I personally like to switch from the way dave usually plays it(the sites way) and then switch to  that way and then after the chorus i'll barre it and then end the song playing the sites way. Satellite used to be soo hard to play and now its almost boring. The off-key intro is def. a great way to start the song!
"They called it Aspen because "buttpencil" was already taken."

--my little brother(stoned 1st time :) )

"A commom mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is underestimating the ingenuity of complete fools." --Ford Prefect

"Don't forget to bring a towel." --Towlie
