Upstroking might solve that problem.

That's why this song takes patience, time and practice. You have to be accurate with your strumming and your muting. It is not an easy song for beginners(I'm not saying that you are one) or even people that have been playing for a year or two.

Practice it slow until you are hitting the strings right and muting the strings right, then speed up. I think the biggest problem is people start out by trying to go as fast as dave plays, just go slow until you get it down.

i have only been really working hard on warehouse for a couple days now, but i can totally see why people get frustrated with it. 1 in 10 times i will play it right without hitting any open strings. but i am not giving up!

I have been trying to fine tune this song, I was wondering about the rhythym if this is correct?

Code: Select all

|--------------------------------------------
|----------------------------------x-x-x-x
|-----------------7-7--------------x-x-x-x
|----------11-11-----9-9----------x-x-x-x
|----9-9-------------------10-10--x-x-x-x
|7-7-------------------------------x-x-x-x
 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4e&a

Same with the first 3 beats
|----------
|---------
|---------
|---------
|-9-9-7-7
|---------

 4e&a
The 4 muted strings are supposed to be lined up.
