So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

If you feel mellow, replace Ill Back you Up with something cooler, like
#40 (powerful vocals),
or Christmas Song, or Pig (which i dig acoustic if you make it very percussive and start it with some vocal percussion imitating carter)
" I give up on this six string shit. "

I was thinking of doing #40 intro into Gravedigger. I liked that combo.
I'm not really fully going into Everyday after PNP. PNP is somewhat a warm up song.
If I feel lovey, I'll go with IBYU.
If I feel mellow, I'll do #40/Gravedigger.
If I feel pissed, I'll do Halloween.

PLay Disneyland by DaDa. Actually, you need two guitars for that. Can you play any Blue Traveler?
I always play "Run Around" as an opener.

It's always nice to mix it up a little. I don't like to introduce songs unless they're not mine and it's not obvious to the audience it's not my song lol! I like to talk to the people in the crowd though, it's more fun and it engages the audience - they pay better attention that way.
Play some of your own tunes, mix it up and have fun. Play what you know and you'll put on a good performance no doubt.

Just don't play crash. Crash is for losers who can't get women with any other song.

Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
