Help finding a solo

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Help finding a solo

Unread post by Carpediem » Mon Feb 07, 2005 11:31 pm

All right...This is sort of broad but maybe someone will know what i'm talking about.

this solo has already been tabed, but i forgot what song it is. its on one of the many live albums of dave, and in it there is a part that goes

A-----------------------7---8---9---
E--------7---8---9------------------

I'm not sure if those are the right strings, but play it and see if you can tell what i'm talking about. any help will do.

Thanks

making poop look good.

Its not jimi, on Jimithing/LS Dave goes
A--------------------10 11 12
E---------10 11 12
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
