easiest dave song to play??

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dude, i dunno, i would have to disagree. I think its a fairly basic song that isn't too hard to master. And certainly more experienced players can nail it.

No shit, that chorus is nuts, I've never even attempted to learn it.

The verse isn't too difficult, but the chorus is tough, even for intermediate players. I haven't heard the chorus done right by very many people who post it up...

I'm surprised no one said "Deed is Done" from the Luther College Disc

I actually redorded that chorus last night. Maybe I will post it for you. I think most intermediate guiyat players can get the chorus. Maybe it's that song you just can't get. I took me 9 years to play Jimi thing correctly. Not that I couldn't play it before but I wanted it to sound exactly like the song.

the only thing that is hard is the funky g'ish? chord in the chorus
rhyme and reason, isnt really that hard, ur hands pretty much stay in the same spot and you slide up the fretboard
crush is pretty easy too

i found lie in our graves ants marching and big eyed fish the easiest first 3 dave songs i learned

i cant play #40 with my pinky on that 3 for the E string like the tab says but if you use your ring finger i find that song pretty easy too
41 Marching Ants Crashing Into the Big Eyed Fish that was a Bartender on Grey Street

41 Dancing Nancies were lying in our graves outside the warehouse because they had so much to say

--those are fun to do

cortez is a joke, unless you add lots of haynesian fills and riffs like I do to spice it up.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Crush, Crash, and Halloween, excluding the obvious, like Christmas Song, and all the covers. Lover Lay Down is simple, I don't understand all the trouble with the chorus. A few named in here I never wanted to learn, like Proudest Monkey.

am i the only one that had problems with crush at first? I don't know what it was, i couldn't play that song for shit, didn't try it again forever, then picked up my guitar one day and started playing it.

PS, if i can't play a song the 3rd time i try playing it i get frustrated and quit.
