you know...I was sitting here thinking about why Dave slides up to the 10th fret with his "pinky" on BOWA(yes, I have a lot of time on my hands), and I have come to a conclusion...could be wrong though....

maybe he plays "3rd" string/7th fret note instead on that chord?

after all it is the same note as 2nd string/3rd fret note on the other chord in the song:

maybe the correct chord is:

if you play it this way, using your ring finger would be a little harder, hence Dave sliding with his pinky...he uses his pinky to make a shorter stretch?

well, I dont have a decent video of this song, so maybe Jared could look at the video again and pay real close attention to that chord?

Because otherwise, why wouldnt he just slide with his ring finger?

i remember moving the 3x45 chord up before and thought the same thing. hadnt played the song in awhile but its sounds decent from what i recall. big gulps huh. well, c-ya later. 8)
