Reading some of your responses. I almost had to laugh. The "right" way? What you ppl mean is the "Dave" way. If you can finger the song a different way with the same notes, rhythm, etc... it's right (You can hear if it's wrong).
You can't tell me you guys that play things the "right/dave" way would ever be able to tell that someone was playing the same exact thing with a different fingering. But, if you could, you probly wouldn't be sitting around reading these msgs on this board. Good luck to all those who just wish to be Dave. You've got your jobs cut out for you my friends.

I think they mean this way of playing it. not really cheating, because i think tim actually plays this way, but not how dave does itlyrics101 wrote:Satellite is really easy, and what do you mean "play it right"? There's no real way to cheat it.

ok, hopefully i'm not the first one to tell this guy that he is talking out his ass. Satellite can be played three different ways(ways that "dave" has played it). You can play it with your pointer, middle and pinky, you can play it middle, pinky and pointer(4,6,3) and you can play it barred at the 3rd. Dave has played all three and if you've figured out a way to make it sound smooth like the song is played with different notes then let's see it. The only other way to play it is tim's way.(but you probably know his way already.....right?)BigEyedBitch wrote:Reading some of your responses. I almost had to laugh. The "right" way? I don't know exactly what your point is but you don't seem to be very positive about this. Can you play Satellite?
