So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hi,
I just got some concerts in the mail. I haven't been to any shows this summer and I am just hearing the new songs for the first time.
Hello Again sounds a lot like a banjo rather than a guitar. Can anyone who went to a show and saw Dave perform "Hello Again" confirm what kind of guitar he was using? I though it might be the Presentation Series Taylor. It's so banjo sounding though.
I hope they get Bela to rock it on the album cut.
Thanks,
Jack

exacery. that would be cool if it were featuring a banjo on the album though. it would just fit the song very nicely.

I think that a banjo running through an electric amp would sound good. It would give it a harsh mean sound, and would then be more perfect for the song. A clean banjo doesn't doesn't fit the tune in my mind, but a harsh would give it the edge that would make it perfect.

Just curious, Have you ever seen Bela's "strato-banjo?" I don't think that's what it's actually called, but it a banjo, with a pickup and it has cutaways attached, kind of. Anways I hope Bela's featured on the next album

I agree. I think a banjo would almost make the song too bluegrassy if that makes sense. I think the song is awesome as is. But I do hope Bela is on the new disc. Is there a realease date yet BTW?
