So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

First time posting over here, I mainly stick to ants and the bridge, but thought I'd register and post this...
I know people were looking for this... so...
Dave has been doing this for years, but I couldn't find any of the old tabs that I used to use, so I just tabbed this out from the 9/3/04 Satellite Intro:
Code: Select all
E---------------------------------------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------------------------------------
G-----------8-------6-5/8--8------6/10---8-5------6-5-----------------
D------8--6-------6-------------6------5--------6---------6-/10-/8-5--
A----6----------4-------------4---------------4---------4-------------
E--4---------8------------8---------------------------6---------------
repeat x2 then go straight into Satellite.

Yeah, stay around. This will seem like heaven compared to the bridge and ants

nope, this is different than the off-key intro... more of a lullaby i guess is what some people are calling it.
