So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this board, but have been to this site for it's great tabs a few times. I live in Miami, FL, am 33 but have played guitar for 25 years (do the math). I have been in tons of bands playing both electric and acoustic but about 4 years ago started playing solo acoustic gigs... Some people at my gigs would request Dave, so I had to check it out, kind of reluctantly at first. The first 2 songs I learned were "Where are you going" and "Bartender" which went over HUGE every time I played them. After learning a few more songs I really got a appreciation for Dave's lyrical and playing style, and he helped me to become excited about playing acoustic guitar again!! Now I know more Dave tunes than any gigging guitar player should, but I can't help it I'm addicted!!
Anyhow, I'm glad to be here with new friends that I have so much in common with... DMB/GUITAR ADDICTION
Thanks,
John

Huh? Nope, no Swedich dude here...
As for those who asked about recordings, I will try to get some up there. I would really like to get a webcam so I can show people how to do some of the tougher stuff. The first post I responded to was about "So Damn Lucky" and the hand position for the pinky to fit right... I would love to show the guys that got hung up on it how I do it... It's really easy.
Anyhow, thanks everyone I look forward to becoming a part of the comunitee here.

Hey,
Nice to see someone else on these boards that's over 30!
Believe me, playing this style IS addictive. It will stretch out your fingers and make your strumming more accurate as well.
Welcome!

I'd be happy to Dale. Looks like I need to start pricing webcams... Hey, Pat Miginnis's (spell?) vids have been really enjoyable!! It would be great if I could eventually contribute like he has.

Go fuck yourself Dale. Seriously.
If you have a problem with me then adress me. Don't talk about me like I'm not around.
Usually I just joke around. And since you seem to have a problem with that I suggest that you log off right now so you don't harm your fragile mind any further.

Chill out a little bit. Judging from his post he honestly didn't know if your being sarcastic or not. It's not like it's easy to tell unless your constantly using the gay little emoticons which I eventually resorted to because people can't understand sarcasm on a message board.
And Dale, address people directly. I hate it when people post like your not gonna read it in a few minutes.
Spread the love people.
