Crush Strumming Pattern?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I've watched Pat's video... I don't need help with the fingering at all, I just can't seem to get the strumming pattern to what I think is correct.

Yeah I had the same problem with Crush. Basically my words of advice that helped me is to just listen to pat's video over and over and eventually start playing along slowly at first and build up speed. Start out just playing a part of it here and there and then eventually try playing it whole. Just practice practice practice and put your ears to work.

stepper's right, just listen to it over and over and over. I had the same problem. But once you get it, it's a really fun song to play
