Suprised only 1 person mentioned this in passing....

Song That Jane Likes......all basic chords(with a simple add9 slide). The outro can be pretty tough but everything else is extremely easy....peace

Chumpnet wrote:I just finished learning Bartender and it was the easiest song for me to learn so far. Only have to worry about 2 strings. There is muting but it's very easy to do. And it's a Dave classic to boot.

But I have yet to learn Typical Digging a Big Eyed Fish so I can't really compare it to those.

Now to play some Crush since I'm already in drop-D.
Only 2 stings in the Bartender verse, but the other parts have chords that obviously use more strings...

Proudest Monkey, as I've only seen it mentioned once, is by far the easiest DMB song. One, simple riff for 9 minutes.

Yeah, I neglected to mention the other parts but they are even easier power chords. But, I'll also mention that those 2 strings in the verse will give your fingers a real endurance workout. So it's better to build up some strength before going at it or just give it some time and you'll get used to it.

After reading some posts, I've realized that I skipped over a lot of easy Dave songs and did the harder ones, sheesh. I should hit some of those and get them under the belt.
