Just a thought... Cold & Grey

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

The song is GREY Street. While the spelling of the color grey/gray might change from country to country (or person to person) the name and spelling of the song doesn't. It's with an E no matter where you are
Thats beside the point...its about anne paxton!
It was a joke by the way buddy......don't take everything so literal.

I heard this also and even mentioned it in my original post on this topic. My question, and maybe canuck_dmb is the only one who can answer - does anyone know where we can find out more about Anne Paxton?

Grey Street is a top notch song...it has me intrigued enough to make me want to read some of her work. I've tried internet searches to no avail so any direction would be helpful.

Thanks!

read about anne paxton, and listen to Mercy Street by Peter Gabrael. i think that's what dave did before he wrote gret street.

Doesn't sound like something I'd sing about my mother

yeah...I'm trying to figure out who said after her was 100% about Dave's mom... Can you justify why you think it's about Dave's mom?? I "heard" dave saying it after her was what he felt was his greatest love song he ever wrote. I know best of what's around is Dave's mom's favorite song

Sorry no man....I don't know. I'd bet that a librarian at your school or at the local libray would have a good clue though. yeah it is a very moving song. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
