New Tabs

Unread post by incubusdmb5 » Thu Jul 22, 2004 7:08 pm

after seeing both camden shows, i noticed a few things.

Hello Again:
the chords for the intro and verse are i believe are wrong. im pretty sure its not a G but something like a D and the 1 and 2 fingers go up and down real quick or 2 and 3 fingers go up real quick. dont really know though.

instead of the chorus using the power chords:
133 355

im pretty sure its just
111 333

Joyride:
its the rapunzel one somone did. then so damn lucky part that someone put up for chorus bit.

Crazy Easy: pretty sure thats the intro
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------2-----3--2----------------------------------------------------
----------/8-----2-----0--2----------------------------------------------------
-9--9--9--/9-----2-----4--2----------------------------------------------------
-9--9--9--/9-----0-----5--0----------------------------------------------------
-7--7--7--/7--------3----------------------------------------------------------

verse: not tottaly sure
chorus:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------3----------------------------------------------------
----4-----------0----------------------------------------------------
----x-----------4---4--5----7-----------------------------------------
----2-----------5----------- 7----------------------------------------
----3------------------------5---------------------------------------

I guarantee you the way pat plays it, although close, isn't 100% correct. I was at both Camden shows and he DEFINITELY uses his 2nd and 3rd finger on the note changes...both chords.

That would make sense actually. So you're saying my fingering is off or the tab? Because now I get it, I should have used my middle finger on the 3 on the g string. let me make note.

Listen, the way you play it sounds great, I'm just saying what I saw, you know? Trying to help perfect it a little. I noticed that his second and third fingers moved. They also looked like they both moved towards the low E string and then back

What? I was making note of the change...I think you though I came off as an ass?

no, I was just being reserved because I don't want to fuck anything up with the tab and whatnot.

[What I, after reading your post, edited into my videos thread]
NOTE: In the video, for the main riff, I used my ring finger for the 3 on the G string (main riff). Dave uses his middle finger.
Is that what you meant?

kind of, I couldn't see what he was playing exactly. it almost looked like it was a Dm shape moved up and then back down. I def could be wrong though.

I think that the way pat plays it is 100% correct for the verse/chorus.. dunno about that transistion part though.. dave moves his ring finger up during the 2nd part of the verse riff, but doesn't play anything.. during night 1 of camden show i watched to see if pats tab was correct and from what I saw, it is
