Newbie on board, sorta....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

That's cool man, I love my Fender 20-CE. I picked up a Takamine and wasn't so fond. To each his own however...

you can record with a USB mic for like 5 bucks. i record with the headset mic that came with SOCOM for my PS2.

i find it hard to believe you can play that amount of dave in a month. no job or anything practicing 5+ hrs a day? not to be a dick or anything but i'd like to hear some of your stuff.

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

I don't know, like I said I don't have a job so spending isn't really an option, I'd need to get it for my b-day (July 30th) or something.

I have a socom mic, how do you record with it?

I'm 17, going on 18 (if you read the earlier post about my up coming birthday, no offense intended).

Edit: Does that happen to anyone? You feel like you said something really rudely?? It's happened to me on every board I've ever been too...

Second Edit: I'm currently in the process of recording some of my shit... and that's exactly what it is... shit... I didn't mean to talk my self up so much, I just wanted to know if knowing how to play the song was good, and obviously knowing how to play it and actually recording it are way different. But anyways, I started recording tonight... It'll be a while before I post something that I'm going to be proud to say I played. They just don't sound good enough for me to post them for all of you. I'll keep ya posted, in the mean time... let the newbie flames pour down on me!

Let's get back to the real topic, which is that this kid is full of shit. It is physically impossible to play for 5-7 hours a day after only a month. The fingers are not calloused enough. GET A JOB!!
Eat good food, Drink good wine, and Make good love all the time.
