Hey all -
I noticed in a lot of the videos, the dave chords are played using all 4 fingers (take the tripping billies intro for example) - I've found its easier to not use the pinky finger and just use my 1,2 and 3 fingers (1 and 2 on 2xx2 and 1 and 3 on 3xx4, with the 2 finger still fretting the third fret on the fourth string - in other words, sliding the 2xx2 fingering over one and drpping the 3 finger down.... does that make sense?) - anyway, I'm just wondering if my way is worse or not, because I find it a lot easier, and I guess I wonder why everyone plays it in the manner they do in the videos (also, I know dave plays them with all 4 fingers.....) Anyway, I'd just like to hear from you guys about what you think.... Thanks a ton!

i do use the 2 finger slide method for billies, grey street, etc... however, i am trying to learn to use all 4 fingers because:
1) its a lot less arm movement
2) good finger placement practice
.. not to mention it looks a lot better

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...
