Anyone else do this?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Precisely. I think that, though I enjoy the song, it is cliched and seems almost like Smoke on the Water.

if someone wants to hear some dave i will not play crash unless they ask for it. its just too cheesy from me to play that first note and look up for some kinda recognition you know. if a lady wants it, fine but i will bust out everything else first. the rhythm of jimi thing gets the ladies going. trust me dudes, i would know.....(im trying to be cornball there, i swear..)

actually when i started out thats why i didnt start with crash. i have other friends that started guitar a year ago and ALL of them were learning crash together. i just sat there and beat my head against a wall and i promised myself if i ever were to pick up a guitar and try to learn how to play it, my first song wouldn't be crash. So I tried Ants, which ended up being really hard for a beginner in my opinion, and did Satellite instead and now i can play the intro/verse pretty well.
