Anyone else do this?

I refuse to learn Crash Into Me. I have nothing against anyone who knows it, but wherever I am I have to explain that I don't know it and won't learn it because it's what everyone plays ALL THE TIME. And I must reiterate, everyone wants to hear it every time. I guess this is more a rant about people who blow off other people who don't play just to impress them. So yeah. Anyone else have experiences like this?

Crash is a popular song amongst DMB fans and non-DMB fans because of it's immense radio play.

what pisses me off is when people see that you can play, so they assume you can play ANYTHING! play this, play that...and i'm just like 'dude i don't have a song catalogue in my head'

but crash is a good song to learn if you can play it... yeah everyone wants to hear it, but so what, it's a good song

Even if i hate the song someone wants to hear, if i can play it, i will. Im playing for them its their show, if i have to take a break from my set for one song to make some people happy i will... also i like literally never play crash into me, fully. I don something i like to call "Crash Into Billies"
I play the first thing on it 2 times, the do those two chords, and start the nature intro. People love it, and those wanting CIM get it, and then a kickass billies takes over.

i love crash...fans love crash. some hate it as well, it comes with the package. but if someone asks me to play a song that i dislike, i'll play it just to see them happy. that's a big part of the reason i like to play guitar, to see people happy. i dunno, call me crazy.

I know it...but EVERYONE knows it and can play it on guitar....and when they say somthin like "I can play crash" your like ok and that makes you good?

No, a lot of people say they know it and only know the chords...they have no idea about the timing and rhythm of the song though..at least from what i've seen

Crash is a very fun song to play. Yet i agree that it does get very annoying if you play it and hear it over and over and over again.
