so right- acoustic

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

unfortunately, this song isn't so great on an acoustic. It needs that powerful electric sound, plus standard sucks for this song. Sorry bud

I think it sounds fine on my acoustic. I think it would sound good on Dave's baritone acosutic.

i think the electric sound definately adds to the song, but acoustic doesnt sound "bad" by any means.... just different.

good luck

I think solo electric sounds bad for the song, but electric is great with the band. I think acoustic for the band would be ok, but sounds good acoustic.

I don't have a guitar in front of me, but maybe try something like this:

Code: Select all

e-2---2-2-2-2-2---------
b-2h3-3-2-3-2-3---------
g-2h4-4-2-4-2-4-4-4-4-4-
d-2h4-4-2-4-2-4-x-x-x-x-
a-2---2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-
e-----------------------
