totally agree. once you practice a song for a year it turns into an "easy" song, but a song that you just start to learn is tough because the rhythm kicks your ass or the muting or whatever. When I posted what the hardest songs to play were, I was thinking generally the toughest songs to GET DOWN. and by that I mean have them sound pretty close to Dave. so that being said, the absolute toughest Dave songs are, no question, Tripping Billies, The Stone, Satellite, Two Step, Warehouse, Ants Marching, Recently, ... well a lot of them are tough.Der-ak wrote:It seems to me that the hardest song to play would be the one you're working on at the time. It would also depend a great deal on the kind of playing you're used to. If you don't play stuff that has alot of stretching, then billies, 41, satellite and warehouse etc. will all kick your ass. If you've put in the time and effort to get the techniques down... the easier it'll be to play the songs that utilize those same techniques.
Anyhow,... this is my attempt at a first post. HUGE props to the creators for such a great site and all those who make this site what it is. It's also really great to see some other CANADIAN Dave fans out there.
