When I read that I had this mental image of Dave holding up a hand written note that said, "Grey Street, I need my 12-string." Then I realized what you meant.Trippin Hillbilly wrote:Last night they segued Recently->Grey Street.
Apparently dave held a note and monk ran out with his 12 string and switched guitars. Dave went straight in to Grey Street.
So is that what you saw?

if i recall correctly...
tuesday night he switched the first time during rhyme and reason and then switched again only two songs later during warehouse. the third and final time he switched during jimi thing, i believe. and last night he switched only once during drive in, drive out. it could be strings breaking, but if thats the case, its happening FAR more often than ive ever seen. come to think of it, i dont know if ive ever seen dave switch guitars mid-song.
also, whats with them playin an abbreviated version of grey street? i still love the song, but its kinda like his blue ballin us... any thoughts and/or opinions on this?

yeah, getting paid well (Im just assuming) getting to be backstage at every concert, following one of the greatest bands around and being daves right hand guitar man, Id quit that shit in a secondGreyBlueAnt wrote:does he have a different guitar tech? maybe there's someone else helping the tech. you'd think he'd get tired of it by now though.
