hey guys...i know this might sound dumb...but does timmy use a pick or does he fingerpick when he plays with dave. ive heard he use a pick for stream...just wondering...thanks everyone.

well depends on song and guitar, on the acoustics except for really fast songs (ex. stream) he uses a pick other than that he fingers on acoustic, and electric he pics

He fingerpicks a lot on electric as well.. he does it a few times in LiC

everytime ive seen him play an electric ive seen him use a pick, im talkin about the electrics not that hot red 12 sting with acoustic stuff on it

I have seen clips with him on his SG on one of hist latest tours, and he used a pick, then set it down when he went into a different part of the song.


Unless he is playing fast, he tends to fingerpick. Also, at certain parts of stream, he uses his other fingers to pick, while hodling his pick out of the way.

I know what you mean.

I've seen him pick, then change up to fingers so many times on electrics..

and I was talking pure electric too.. such as a Gibson SG or Les Paul..

ahhh, cause ive seen him do the switch and i was talkin on the stuff ive seen and on the site it said electric picking, and that red guiitar is HOTT

Whats the deal with that guitar? It has twelve strings but it doesn't look like its the same as normal twelve strings (i.e. Ee Aa Dd Gg Bb ee). Maybe it's like a Baritone?
